Capt. Jacob Quintanilla

Captain Jacob A. Quintanilla was born on June 23, 1990 in Dallas, TX and was raised in Plano, TX. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University, College Station earning a Bachelor's of Science degree in Industrial Distribution.
 
He completed Platoon Leaders Course (PLC) in August of 2012 and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant upon graduation from college in December 2012.
 
In October 2013, he attended The Basic School (TBS). Upon completion of TBS in May 2014, Second Lieutenant Quintanilla reported to Headquarters Regiment, 1st Marine Logistics Group (MLG), Camp Pendleton, CA for on the job training while awaiting school. He reported to Ground Supply Officers Course (GSOC) in July 2014 and upon completion took over as the Regimental Supply Officer in October 2014. He was promoted to First Lieutenant in December 2014.
 
Upon completion of his active duty tour, he transferred to the Select Marine Corps Reserve (SMCR) and reported to 1st Civil Affairs Group, Force Headquarters Group (FHG) aboard Camp Pendleton, CA as the S-4 Officer in December 2017. In May 2018, he received active duty operational support (ADOS) orders to 2d Battalion, 23d Marines in Pasadena, CA as the Assistant Inspector-Instructor (I-I)/Supply Officer. In June 2019, he received ADOS orders to 1st Battalion, 25th Marines in Devens, MA as the I-I S-4/Supply Officer. During this tour he was promoted to Captain in February 2020.
 
In July 2020, Captain Quintanilla received ADOS orders to Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) G-4, Marine Corps Support Facility, New Orleans, LA to serve as the Class VII Supply Operations Officer. During this time, he was selected for accession into the Active Reserve program in February 2022. In March 2023, he assumed the duties of the Assistant Force Supply Officer, MARFORRES.
 
In July 2024, Captain Quintanilla reported to 6th Marine Corps District Headquarters, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, SC to his current position as the Prior Service Recruiting Station 6 Officer in Charge.
 
His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with three stars and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
