University of Alabama law student, John Dawson with Marine Officer Selection Office Tuscaloosa, speaks about his experience in working towards being selected as a Marine Officer Candidate in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, April 5, 2023. He was inspired to pursue commissioning as an officer by his grandfather who served as a Marine, and he has been motivated by his brother who is now an enlisted Marine.
