Staff Sgt. Michael Isaac and Staff Sgt. Michael Maynard, local Marine Corps recruiters, present a Battles Won Academy invitation to Robert P. Matthew, a Cairo High School student, during a visit to the high school, in Cairo, Georgia, April 24, 2019. Matthew was one of 96 students across the country who the Marine Corps selected for the academy as part of the Semper Fidelis All-American Program. During the academy in Washington, D.C., students will participate in daily physical training with Marines, community service projects, listen to keynot speakers and more.
