Pfc. Brice R. Miranda, honor graduate of platoon 3066, marches across the parade deck as part of the pass and review portion of graduation at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.C., Sept. 11, 2015. Miranda is from Palm City, Fla., and was recruited from Recruiting Station Fort Lauderdale. Recruit training signifies the transformation of a civilian to a United States Marine. Upon graduation, the newly-minted Marines will receive ten days of leave before attending the School of Infantry East, Camp Geiger, N.C.
