Cpl. Jay G. Richardson (right), a native of Naples, and amphibious assault vehicle technician with the 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion, 4th Marine Division, gives some words of encouragement while shaking the hand of a disheartened Golden Gate High School Football team member after a grueling series of sprints and calisthenics August 2, 2013. Richardson was one of eight Marines who helped administer an intensive mentorship program to the team. The three-day camp was put on by the Marines to teach the players leadership and discipline and help them with preparations for the upcoming football season.
