Sgt. Matthew Jacobs (right), a Kentucky native and recruiter from Recruiting Substation Naples, Recruiting Station Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., motivates a group of Golden Gate High School football team members to push through the pain of physical exhaustion during a rigorous session of circuit training August 3, 2013. Jacobs was one of eight Marines who helped administer an intensive mentorship program to the team. The three-day camp was put on by the Marines to teach the players leadership and discipline and help them with preparations for the upcoming football season.
