Private First Class Jay Asencio, honor graduate of platoon 2002, and his family take a photo with Brig. Gen. Maj. of Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, after graduation aboard Parris Island, S.C., Jan. 4, 2013. As graduation comes to an end, Asencio will head back to his hometown of Miami, Fla., where he will enjoy some well-deserved leave with his family, as he rests up before heading to Camp Geiger, N.C., where he will undergo Marine Combat Training.
