Operations Chief, Prior Service Recruiting 6
Master Sgt. Vincent T. Sicilia

Private (Pvt) Vincent T. Sicilia enlisted in May of 1998 and then completed boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) Parris Island in August of 1998. Pvt Sicilia completed Marine Combat Training (MCT) where he was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Private First Class (PFC) in October of 1998, and subsequently attended Supply Administration School where he obtained the MOS of 3043. From 1998 - 2002, PFC Sicilia served in various supply administration billets within Marine Corps Property (MCP), Marine Aviation Group (MAG) 31, 2D Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Beaufort, South Carolina. In January of 1999, PFC Sicilia conducted joint NATO cold weather training in Norway and later deployed to Kosovo where he was meritoriously promoted to Lance Corporal (LCpl) in June of 1999. 

Sicilia was promoted to Corporal in February of 2001 and in 2002, left active duty where he accepted a position with the Active Reserve (AR) program at Headquarters and Service Battery, 4th Battalion, 14th Marines, 4th Marine Division in Bessemer, Alabama. From 2002-2006, Cpl Sicilia served as the Fiscal Chief and transitioned the unit into Anti-Terrorism Battalion, 4th Marine Division. 

In 2006, Sicilia was promoted to Sgt and transferred to Marine Air Control Squadron (MACS) 24, where he served as the Supply Administration Chief. Sgt Sicilia deployed to Djibouti, Africa in 2007 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom serving as a squad leader within a Provisional Security Company (PSC).

In June of 2010 Sicilia earned the rank of SSgt before receiving orders to Company F, 4th Tank Battalion, 4th Marine Division aboard Stone Bay, North Carolina.  During his time with 4th Tank Battalion, he served as the as the Supply Chief and volunteered as the Toys for Tots Coordinator until his departure in 2013.

In 2013, SSgt Sicilia assumed duties as a Prior Service Recruiter in Jacksonville, FL where earned the distinction of 6th MCD and ERR, Prior Service Recruiter of the Year for FY14.  SSgt Sicilia was promoted to Gunnery Sergeant (GySgt) in December of 2014.  GySgt Sicilia was selected to the Career Recruiter MOS of 8412 in 2015, and assumed duties as the Staff Non Commissioned Officer in Charge (SNCOIC) of Prior Service Recruiting Sub Station Orlando.  In 2016, GySgt Sicilia was named the 6th MCD PSR SNCOIC of the Year.

GySgt Sicilia was frocked to his current rank of Master Sergeant (MSgt) in April of 2018 upon transferring to serve in his current position as the Operations Chief of Prior Service Recruiting Station Six (PSRS6) aboard MCRD Parris Island, SC.
