U.S. Marines and Future Marines participate in a formation run during the Recruiting Station (RS) Fort Lauderdale Annual Pool Function at Marine Corps Reserve Station Hialeah, Hialeah, Florida, Apr. 29, 2017. The annual pool function brought together every recruiting substation within RS Fort Lauderdale for a day of field meet events, friendly competition, and time with Marine Corps drill instructors. The annual function promotes camaraderie while providing Future Marines a sense of what it feels like to be a Marine recruit in the presence of drill instructors.
