Future Marine Zachary Barr is awarded the lifesaving medal Mar. 23, 2017 after resuscitating a criminal on the run from police who had fallen into a lake and drowned. Barr is currently servicing as a field training officer with the Pasco County Sheriff's department. Barr entered the Marine Corps delayed entry program Nov. 23, 2016, and ships out in May 2017.
