Mya Russi, an assistant principal at Freedom High School and part of the Recruiting Station Orlando group, watches a video based around the time recruits go through the crucible section of training in the Parris Island Museum January 14, 2016, aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.C. Visiting the Parris Island Museum is one of the many parts of the Educators Workshop, which is a three-day event that will give the educators a chance to experience the day-to-day routines aboard the depot and Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, S.C.
