Pfc. Auldon Robinson II, the platoon honor graduate of 1034, stands at parade rest before marching onto the parade deck at graduation here, May 30, 2014. Robinson, a Lake Arthur, La. native, was recruited by Sgt. Josue Castillo, a recruiter from Marine Corps Recruiting Sub Station Lafayette, Recruiting Station Baton Rouge. Recruit training signifies the transformation of a civilian to a United States Marine. Upon graduation, the newly-minted Marines will receive ten days of leave before attending the School of Infantry East, Camp Gieger, N.C. The Marines will be trained in basic infantry skills and ensure that the Marines are combat-ready. (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Lance Cpl. John-Paul Imbody)
